WHY is it I ask, that animals go extinct and humans are overwhelmingly over populating this planet. Too many people are causing the wildlife to go extinct. Human overpopulation needs to be kept in check. Human overpopulation is wreaking havoc on this planets resources worldwide..😈😠😡😠

How about the Victims of the many Seminole Indians women and children who died Walking in TheTrail of Tears being removed by Andrew Jacson from Florida walking all the way to South Dakota? Even in today's car driving, that's very far! By the way! If we are to honorable!? Because of that evil inhumane act of cruelty, shouldn't we remove Andrew Jackson's face from the dollar $5 biil? Hm?! When you sing God bless America! Remember that your ancestors came from Wyrope not the America's. And think how the Natives feel! ....if you have a decent conscience, like Lincoln did!

The water temperature runs 50 degrees plus or minus on average will make your limbs cramp. The current of high and low tides moves about 7 mph. There is about a 1 hour period between tides call slack tide when the waters cease to flow either direction. The greater the high and lows of the tides increases the water speed. Today the 25th of June, the tide has a 7 foot change.

When I was a child--I was able to watch, Alcatraz when it was a working prison, a helicopter and a boat delivering supplies to the prison. It was a sight I will never forget, because of the fact that the most dangerous prisoners were kept on Alcatraz and the fact that it was not that far away.

My parents are in there grey hairs so every time there dogs die I have to bury them in the back yard and have been since I was a teenager. We live in Craftsbury Vt Population to small to count and they live right in town on a half acre,in 30 years I have buried 20 animals and now when I do it I can’t remember the spots and come in contact with there remains wrapped lovenly in an old blanket and with bottles of water and food and toys for the after life. We’re running out of room !

Vincent shot himself in the abdomen, not the chest. He had brought his plein air equipment and a revolver out to the fields. After shooting himself behind a manure pile, Vincent got up, and walked, stumbling, back to his room where he collapsed. The police were quickly called and he refused to give them Theo's address. They were forced to telegraph Theo's work where he didn't find out about it until the next morning. Theo rushed to his side and the two spent the day talking. It took poor Vincent 36 hours to pass away. He was not in one of his manic episodes, he was lucid.

You have to add qualifiers to make George Washington the first "President of the United State UNDER THE CONSTITUTION". John Hanson is the first "President of the United States UNDER the Articles of Confederation" My guy: John Hancock is the first "President of the United States" with no qualifiers. He was the President when the United States began as a independent country. Before that it was a territory of the English Empire. The United States of America began when the Declaration of Independence was signed. The next few years involved convincing England of this fact. The Continental Congress was the ruling body at that time and the President of the Congress had different duties, he was still the leader of the ruling body of America. The signing the of Articles of Confederation and later the Constitution was just a change in the form of government. The Constitution did not create a new country but the new document created a new ruling body, and gave a different set of duties to the president. From the very start in 1774 the office was called "The President of the United States" . The starting document of the Article of Confederation used the declaration that the confederacy will be called "The United States of America" and this was on June 7, 1776. The Declaration of Independence used "United State of America" on the second line. President. George Washington was not the first "President of the United States". He was the 14th. (You better answer the 1st on the citizenship exam or else!)

That must be why SF and the surrounding area is named the 'Red Triangle". The water wasn't as polluted as it is now. Just because you can't see the sharks doesn't mean they are not there.

    • @j.griffin

There are most definitely sharks in SF Bay- including Great Whites. He said shark-infested, not “man-eating”. There are 11 known species of sharks in the Alcatraz area and you don’t have to get eaten to die. “Shark infested” is open to interpretation and debate but there aren’t a lot of people swimming in that area so there aren’t a lot of incidents or concerns- but they are there. Great whites get hooked there but the law requires that they be released.

MOST of the bartenders enjoyed the prank. After a while we got others involved and made some GRAND beer-amids. haha Great memories!

The apocryphal story that superglue was first used for medical applications in Vietnam, when a MASH tent ran out of sutures, and someone grabbed whatever was at hand, is false. Not saying that didn't happen (it probably did!) but the first medical use was in 1960 at a Tokyo hospital, according to this very-well-put-together (pun intended) video.

Fun fact. According to the book about Hitler's informal conversations after lunch, Hitler suggested to name the never-to-be-completed H-39 battleships after Ulrich von Huttin and Götz von Berchinligen. These ships were laid down, but the outbreak of the war in 1939 got the works to be suspended and by 1941 the few that was built was scrapped. Both ships never got an official name,

In 1974 I rebuilt 763 Vega engines in one six month period the cylinders sank in the block causing head gskt trouble but the biggest problem was cylinder head porosity. The coolant migrated through the metal and enters the oil system, result milkshake baby poop, plus the brakes and front end were so poor that created the most dangerous driving conditions
